I was joined by Fyrebyrd from The Dusty Caldron Podcast to discuss the events in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets chapter 15: Arogag. With no Hermione, no Dumbledore, and no Hagrid around, and Hogwarts still on lockdown our little duo makes decisions like: sneaking out at night underneath the invisibility cloak to follow spiders into the Forbidden Forest.  What could go wrong??? It's not like they'll be kidnapped by giant spiders, nearly eaten, and have to be saved by a sentient car. Right? We also discuss Draco Malfoy's comments that come with a side of foreshadow, Snape as potential headmaster, what Dumbledore would have wanted, make the connection between a Basalisk and Voldemort, and discuss how this chapter really is just a giant eight-legged jump scare with no true impact on the plot of the story.
